Panama Sport Fishing Trip | Booking FAQ’s

To accept your reservation we will need the following information completed:
– Booking Form
– Release of Liability

Once you set off on your Panama Sport Fishing trip you will arrive in Panama City via the Tocumen Airport. Guests have the choice of making a flight that comes in early and driving straight up to the Lodge. Or stay a night in Panama City and drive up to the lodge the next morning. Flights into Panama are the responsibility of our guests to book themselves. We recommend COPA Airlines.

The Transfer fee of if needed is is payable to EL RIO NEGRO and is NOT included in the RATE and must be added to the package price and will be billed separately.This Transfer fee includes R/T shuttle service to and from the Lodge and Panama City. Please inquire about current pricing.

Upon your departure from the Lodge we recommend you stay overnight and leave Panama City the next day. Other than your Panama Sport Fishing trip, there are many things for you to see and do in and around Panama City such as guided rainforest tours and other exciting activities, golfing at Coronado, and the always-popular tour of the Panama Canal. We can assist you in connecting you with companies that will help you make arrangements to enjoy these and other exciting activities while you are in Panama. We have a list of hotels we recommend in Panama City for the guests who stay a night or two. The acceptable forms of payment to El RIO NEGRO are at our reservation office in California. They are personal check, direct deposit or credit card (charges apply).

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT
50% deposit is due upon booking and the final payment is due 30 days before the trip.

UNITED STATES CITIZENS
– A valid passport
– Panamanian Tourist Card

GUESTS WITH OTHER CITIZEN SHIPS
– Please check with the Panamanian Embassy website.

– Please view the new Yellow Fever Vaccination requirement.

PANAMANIAN CUSTOMS
– It is illegal to import fresh produce, fruits and meats into the country.
– You mush declare all monies, or valuables that exceed the sum of $10,000 on their person or luggage.

Once you make your booking you will be sent a client package. This requests your:
– Date of birth
– Weight
– Passport number
– Flight information.
– Our release form (mandatory)

We like to remind our guests when packing please keep in mind our tropical climate.
– Quality high SPF sunscreen
– Polarized sunglasses
– Casual light, loose cotton clothing (long sleeve shirt)
– Swim suits
– Rubber-soled shoes
– Hat for boat
– Personal items (medication, toiletries ext)
– Camera
